Ski resort Ishgl is in fact a whole big ski area that includes 4 zones of skiing – See, Kappl, Ischgl and Galtür, all the villages lie in the valley Paznaun. From Ischgl one can also get to the swiss ski resort Samnaun that is connected by ski lifts and pistes with Ischgl ski area. Most of ski pistes you will find of course in Ischgl. The heighst top of ski area is the mountain Greitsoitze (2872 metres, the town Ischgle is built on the level of 1400 m over sea). There is 41 ski lifts, and common lenght of all pistes is 238 km. 48 kilometres of black pistes attract a lot of professional skiers.

Galtür is a ski village that is situated not far from Ischgl. That is best choice for beginners, although the black and red pistes area exists there too and is situated close to Kops lake.
Kappl is another village with ski lifts and its own ski area that is easily available from Ischgl.
